Risk risk, RISK and princess water
In a huge Covid America faux-pas, I went on vacation this weekend with all seven of my siblings. it was beautiful and fun and 100% worth the risk.
I ended up showing my smart, progressive, corporate accountant brother the increase in the Federal balance sheet, and it was news to him.
It's a scary picture and it is certainly more convenient to ignore.
How in the world do we double the balance sheet and not have dramatic inflation within a year? And as we should know, inflation hurts the poor disproportionately. It has been frustrating to hear so many lament the "focus on the economy at the expense of lives" when truly they are one and the same.
I highly recommend the always doomsday Peter Schiff talking about the coming bubble burst on a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience (Bonus he gives a shoutout to the Jo Jorgensen campaign)
Ultimately who is going to be hurt the worst? Not just the American poor, but the poor worldwide. According to a recent report put out by Oxfam, 12,000 could die per day from hunger due to Covid-19 related production decreases. My friends in Haiti are already reporting food shortages and hunger.
What am I trying to say? If you are progressive, and you care about alleviating human suffering, you should care about the dramatic increase in U.S. debt in 2020.
Currently drinking:
Berkey Filtered Water with OmniBlue Ocean Minerals, Trace Minerals Zinc, and lemon juice.
I missed my princess water when I was on vacation!
